The club promotes conservation of our fisheries and wild lands by hosting, participating, and/or sponsoring conservation activities. These include occasionally hosting river work days on local waters.

China Spring Youth Camp － Dedicated to helping at-risk youth become productive members of their family and community.
The Nature Conservancy of Nevada － Protecting 1800+ acres along the Carson River (River Fork Ranch, Bently Ranch - Kirman Field), restoring 10+ miles of the Truckee River (McCarran Ranch Preserve, Lockwood and 102 Ranch), and protecting Independence Lake.
National Forest Service － Manages our public forests. Many of our local fisheries are in national forests.
Nevada Department of Wildlife － Conservation education, habitat restoration and fishery maintenance... Hobart Reservoir is great example of their efforts.
We encourage keep fish wet catch and release and sensible fish harvesting practices.
