REEL VETSSM

Reel VetsSM － Reel Vets is a program founded by HSFC in 2012 with the goal of serving our veterans and providing them with an opportunity for healing and finding inner peace through fly fishing. Reel Vets annual retreats are held at a private trout pond in the Carson Valley where veterans are paired with experienced flyfishing buddies who guide and support them in their quest to catch BIG fish! No fishing experience is necessary and all gear is provided. 

In partnership with the Reno Vets Center and the Nevada Department of Wildlife, this free fly fishing program is available to eligible veterans in the Reno, Carson City and Douglas County areas of Nevada. Eligible veterans can sign up for the program through the Reno Vet Center or by contacting HSFC at info@hsfc.us
